Job description
About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $100B in annualized spend flows in and out of 50,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
As a Product Operations partner for Ramp Accounting, Integrations, and Stack (Automated Bookkeeping), you will help build and scale the workflows that enable customers to close their books faster, maintain accurate financials, and seamlessly connect Ramp to their ERP and accounting stack. You will reduce customer friction and shape product quality leveraging data and tight feedback loops with customers and customer facing internal teams.
Beyond your product vertical, you will also contribute to Product Operations process improvement and product building which allows our Product and Engineering teams to scale. You will use AI tools to improve processes around release management, collecting customer feedback, and enabling internal teams to support our customers and troubleshoot issues.
Our main goal is to reduce customer friction, measured by support tickets per active user and customer NPS.
What You’ll Do
Own the voice-of-customer loop for your surfaces — systematically capture, analyze, and prioritize feedback from CX, Sales, and direct customer channels
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to translate customer feedback into actionable product requirements and specs
Own launch operations for new features as they move from Alpha to GA
Directly ship product improvements (UX fixes and paper cuts) using AI tools — owning your own backlog of customer friction reduction, not just feeding the engineering backlog
Use AI to automate processes and build products to enable teams to ship faster while maintaining a high quality bar
What You Need
3+ years in product operations, product management, or a customer-facing analytical role supporting B2B SaaS; experience with accounting, ERP integrations, or fintech workflows preferred
Proficiency using data to size opportunities and analyze adoption and support trends
Ability to translate qualitative feedback into crisp requirements and operational processes
Comfort working in ambiguous, technically complex spaces and driving clarity across multiple stakeholders
Strong problem solving, prioritization, and communication skills; bias to ship improvements quickly and measure impact
Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate your work and directly make product improvements
Nice to Haves
Hands-on experience with ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Xero) or accounting close management tools
Experience with accounting concepts — general ledger, journal entries, reconciliation, month-end close
